General

The first international Forum on Nanotechnology will be held in Rome, Italy, from 14 to 16 April 1999. Conference registration will take place on the evening of April 14th. It is a multidisciplinary meeting on nanotechnology and nanoscale science, with particular emphasis on new experimental results as well as theoretical and modeling work.

    and will be considered for acceptance either as oral presentation or poster at the Rome Forum.

     Notification of Acceptance will be made by January 15 1999.

     Abstracts accepted by the Program Committee and key-note speakers contributions should be submitted to Nanotechnology by March 31 1999 as full length papers to be grouped together as a special feature section of a regular issue of the journal.
    Upon letter of acceptence by the Forum Co-chairs, papers must be submitted directly to the publishing office of Nanotechnology in Bristol (UK) and the Editor Ian Russel will amminister them from there through a regular peer-review.

     Authors are encouraged to make preprints of their papers available on the web (using this template). The Forum web page will provide a link.

    The conference registration fee includes an evening reception on Wednesday, the scientific program on Thursday and Friday, lunch on Thursday and Friday.
    Registration for the Wednesday tutorial is separate from the conference registration. The tutorial registration fee includes Wednesday lunch. You may register either for the conference only, the tutorial only, or both.

    Refund Policy

     Refunds of registration fees can only be made on receipt of a written request, postmarked no later than February 15/1999 and are subject to a $50 administrative fee. Substitutions may be made at any time
