Numerical modelling of powder particles micro-mechanics rupture

The problem of obtaining ultradispersional particles (UDP) and clusters and producing materials on their basis have recently become especially urgent. It will be noted that the development of new highly productive and economically profitable methods of clusters and UDP obtaining require substantial materials resources.

Hence the application of mathematical modelling methods allowing to carry out prior investigations of clusters formation processes and to save time and economize resource while developing new technologies is quite necessary

 The purpose of this work vvas the development of task formulation and numerical research of dynamic rapture problem of the powder materials up to the ultradispersional particles under the impact power influence [1,2].

The finite elements method and the method of the molecular dynamics are used. The numeical investigation allowed to cover the fundamental mechanism of the materials dispersion up to ultradispersional particles and to ascertain the basic parameters defining the kinetics of this process.
